When Not so Good turns Into Wondeful.

First of all I so appreciate all the wonderful comments I recieved,
I read them all, this weekend was so busy,
and odd that I did not get a chance to return any comments.
Just know you all have helped me immensely,
................
I had a great few days, I had one oops on Friday evening,
I think it was because I had not eaten enough .
so I increased things on Saturday,
There are two things I hate to do,
clothes shopping and shoe shopping,
but hubby and I managed to get good shoes with proper arches,
and I got a couple blouses for a wedding in January.
One is 4 sizes smaller,
once we got back home,
I needed a nap, very important I stay on a shedule with my Cataplexy,
and Hubby took off. He went looking for a treadmill for me.
This is how serious I am about this.
He came home, he could not find anything under 829.00,
so We both thought that was it for that idea.
In the middle of the night I got on Kijiji,
and  to make a  long story short,
I have the best treadmill I have imagined having,
and drumroll please,
one hundred dollars.
Can you believe it, talk about luck.
It was out in the fancy area of town,
what a house, what a nice lady, and what lovely neighbors they had.
they had just moved in and had not met any of their neighbors yet,
and a man with two boys came over and helped my hubby.
They were so nice,
When we got back home here
Two of our neighbors,
helped hubby get it into the house and all setup.
Whoooo Hooooo, makes me extremely happy.
Have you ever had jello legs,
I can say I have,
and that is exciting.
Hubby was even walking on it tonight.
so maybe he will get in on this too,
healthier lifestyles.
............
Will go for now, I have a Doctors appointment in the am
so off to sleep.

DALAI LAMAS 75TH BIRTHDAY...BUILDING A BRIDGE OF LOVE!

I am writing this Monday evening because I have an early
appointment in the morning and I did not want to rush
my post as I feel this is such a special day.
It is the Dalai Lamas 75th Birthday!
I believe this is someone we should celebrate.
He states 'This is my simple religion, there is no need for temples,
no need for complicated philosophy,
our own brain, our own heart is our temple,
the philosophy is kindness."
I feel there is so much wisdom in his words.Imagine if every individual
could  open there hearts and be kind to all others, what a truly
wonderful world it would be.
.................................................
Se'lah from Necessary Room came up with the idea of Building a Bridge of Love
by doing a Random Act of Kindness.Se'lah has such a wonderful heart and she exudes kindness
in her life and in her blog, when she leaves a comment it is sincere and she is genuine.
She strives every day to be her best, and to do her best. She is one love.
...............................................................................................
So today as I am headed to the hospital for an appointment
I have a huge opportunity to do more than one act of kindness.
My plan is to smile for someone who is sad,
to be a shoulder to lean on or cry to.
I will treat others as I would want to be treated.
I hope just for a moment on a day when they are facing hardships
that the kindness of a stranger can make a difference,
sometimes even a Hello can be important, or to listen with an understanding ear.
After my appointment I will sit on one of the benches and visit
with some people that are staying in the hospital, that are just waiting for someone to say hello,
to make the time pass just a little quicker, maybe my husband and I will buy a coffee or a meal
for someone, and then we will head home as I will be tired from my outing....
And as I lay my head upon my pillow
I will know in my heart
that what I did mattered to the other person and to me.
.......................
May we all feel the love by doing an act of kindness,
together we can build a Bridge of Love.
We just have to believe with open hearts and open minds.
................
May you have your very best of days.
Thank you to Se'lah .
