On the Bright Side

Hi Everyone,
I don't think it is going to stop anytime soon
so here is my list of the benefits of  the rain....
The possibilities of a rainbow...sweet
No yard work, no mosquitoes while it is raining,
fresh air, clean vehicles, time to read a book,
everything is so green, birds sing whether it is raining or not,
I love to dance in the rain and I do,
a bowl of hot soup, time to walk on the treadmill,
love to catch raindrops on my tongue,
mud puddles, bright rain coats, cool boots,
barefoot in the grass.........
Have a great weekend.
Remember dance as if no one is watching.
What would you add to the list,
I would love to read it.
Have Your Very Best Days.
Cinner

  3. HI CINNER -- I love, love, love, rainy days. ANd I so appreciate all the benefits you listed to enjoy. :-) I would add curl up on the couch and listen to my favorite music, not too loudly because I want to hear the rain too. I love to perch on my bed while it is raining outside and clean my jewelery box. I usually find trinkets I forgot I had so I feel like I have been given some jewelery as gifts, cool huh? :-)
Skipp is off for the day in New Jersey hoping to get a spot to audition for the show "THE VOICE". I just talked to him and there are over 20,000 people in line. Good Lord.
My girlfriend is coming over later for lunch. We always have such a fun time. Have a beautiful and happy weekend.
    Love Gail

  5. Oh, that was my favorite favorite movie when I was a little girl. My mom took me to see that movie and she said I danced through the puddles all the way home.

Singing in the rain, isn't it a perfect metaphor for how our life is? We have to learn how to sing in the rain, because it surely will rain.

I am having a little giveaway, so please stop by and leave a comment. I will announce the winner on Monday.

    Wishing you a beautiful weekend.

  6. I hope you have a wonderful weekend also, Cinner. It rains here in the Pacific Northwest all the time. I love your relating "singing in the rain" to life. It's true.

I could add, hearing the sound of rain, the smell after the rain, warm dry shelter, and the perfect time to take a nap!

  8. Rain would be a blessing here especially if it cooled things off! Also I wouldn't have to water my plants which are in dire need but it's been so hot outside that it's hard to breath!
Which reminds me, I forgot to water the plants in the front yard last night.
Rain would be lovely right now!!
    Love Di ♥
