I Can, I Am, and I Will!

“The strongest oak tree of the forest is not the one that is protected from the storm and hidden from the sun. It’s the one that stands in the open where it is compelled to struggle for its existence against the winds and rains and the scorching sun.” ~Napolean Hill
I have decided it is time I get all fired up.
The last few days the winter has had me a bit down,
might be true or is it just another one of the excuses so that I can put off until tomorrow..
I can not wait until tomorrow, if I don't make me my highest priority,
well then I really need to give my head a shake..
I realize it will take more than will power on my part to reach my goals.
“Willpower can produce short-term change, but it creates constant internal stress because you haven’t dealt with the root cause.” ~Rick Warren

I need to work on Commitment,
I don't have time to waste time,
My body is the only one I have to live in,
so I better be committed to take care of it.
It is very simple I keep telling myself that I want this so bad,
well then I better be ready to do the work.
Guess what.....I am
I won't just try, I will do it.
I know I can.
I am important, I am committed to doing this
so I can do the things I dream of doing.
I will be the healthiest I can be.
There will be no stress.
I am doing this,
starting right
now.
I am excited.
It is going to be a great day!
I hope you have one,
remember you are the most
important thing in your life.
Be well.
Just do it!
Cinner

  4. Great quotes, Cinner!
I simply made weight loss my highest priority, too.
And gave it the attention it was due. It is not easy. It is simple, but it is not easy.
    But it is very do-able!
Shake shake shake for your head!
    :)

  7. I love your passion and enthusiasm!
Motivation is it! We don't all start with enough motivation to last the whole way especially if there is a lot to lose. I'm finding reading other's blogs is topping up my reservoir of motivation so I have enough to see each day through. This is definitely a top-up post and fills me with your enthusiasm..Thanks

  10. " I am committed to doing this so I can do the things I dream of doing..."

That is so important... to have a REASON for doing this. We have our dreams, and that will fuel our fire. I want to join you in getting all fired up again!

  34. One of the things I value so much about your writing here is that you share the down times as well as the up. We all get down, feel discouraged, or worse, at times. When you share your down times with us, you help us see we're not alone. You help us see that it's all part of the life cycle, and you encourage us, by showing us some of the ways you pick yourself back up.

Reminding us that we must take care of ourselves, that we're worth investing our time, is one of those ways.

    Thank you, Cinner.
