Odds & Ends.

Hi Everyone,
this is a shot of my backyard last summer,
I am showing it so that I can say my statue is covered in snow up to her elbows.
She looks rather odd just with her elbows up sitting on the top of the snowdrift.
So yeah that is what a Canadian winter is all about I guess.
I so appreciate all the comments and have tried to answer but for some
reason still having problems commenting on your comments.
I can do this on my other blog,
Does anyone have the same problem or suggest what I do.
I would appreciate any help with this.
Know what's weird? Day by day, nothing seems
to change, but pretty soon ...
everything's  different.

I think the above quote applies to keeping our goals in sight,
staying focused and arriving at our individual destinations.
Have a Great Weekend
Are you watching the Super Bowl
and no thats not Supersized.

  1. What a gorgeous backyard, Cinner. So tranquil. Woo, the snow is high. Down on the Westcoast we are doing well - so far. No snow, but our usual rain on and off. I want your backyard!!

  2. If my yard was covered in snowdrifts to the elbow, i'd be wanting to look at this reminder of summer, too!

I have recently had two other people say that they couldn't comment on my blogs with the 'embedded' comment section. So I changed it to a 'pop up'. Is that the problem you are having?

  3. Love, LOve, LOVE your backyard photo! What a beautiful garden you've created! No Super Bowl for me but all the men in my life will certainly be watching!

  4. Calvin and Hobbes are the bomb dot com.
Cool pic - stay warm up there, eh?

your yard is SO beautiful and so are YOU
    Love Gail

  6. What a beautiful backyard. We don't get much snow here ( Central UK) but would love to be in your backyard with snow up to the statues elbows, that would be fabulous.!

  7. love the quote and encouragement...beautiful backyard....Have a great weekend're the best...

  8. Hi Cinner,
I am so impressed by your your backyard! It is simply gorgeous and looks like a photo out of a magazine! If you do all that work yourself, that is a good way to keep in shape. One of the reasons that I am looking forward to spring time!
I am mostly computer illiterate so I don't know what to tell you about the comment deal. I'm sure that someone out there may know! Have a beautiful Sunday. Yes we will be watching the Superbowl!
    Love Di ♥

  9. Yeppers! Definitely watching the Super Bowl!! It is still so cold that we have a roaring fire and the blankets all ready to snuggle in front of the TV. Fruit and cheese trays a ready...woot!! Bring it on!!

  10. Hi Cindy! I love the looks of both of your blogs! I just left your other one...and am soooo impressed with the looks of your blogs!
I'm not having trouble commenting on blogs, but if you are having trouble getting to mine, please let me know. If you have changed your e-mail address, you won't be able to access mine since it is a private blog.
I do hope that the snow melts soon...and it will.... well....when spring comes, right?
Hang in there, and stay warm my friend.

  11. that is a lot of snow! I must go shovel my path, but there is only a few inches since last night. Well i do have a couple of feet in my yard. But not to the elbows.

I agree, one step at a time....

  12. Tammy Lee, thanks for coming by and yes one step at a time. have a great week.

Hi Jackie, so good to see you hear. I need you to give me permission to get on your blog. It just says I am not invited....I can't go to the I tried yesterday and it happened again. I would love to read your blog again. I know you sent me something before. I hope you are well. have a great week. take care.

  13. SueAnn, oh a roaring fire sounds nice. we watched it up here too. have a great week. hugs to you.

Diana, hi well I figured something out, it seems to be working, I had to change it to a pop out page. My yard does keep me very busy and in the sun. when we bought the house there was nothing in the yard, it was covered under snow. Now every year I seem to add a bit more. last year it was hard to keep up, so I think I will be planting more wild flowers and just let them go. It is my most peaceful place in the world. hugs to you. thanks for all your comments. I love your visits.
    have a great week.

  14. Sarah your the best. I hope you are doing well and wish you a fabulous week ahead. hugs.

  17. Darla, hi...I spend so much time outside and now it seems like an extension of my tiny little house. what I like about the west coast is even though it rains, everything still looks so green. It did when I was there in January at my nephews wedding. I love your positive attitude. Have a great week. hugs.
