live strong

Hi Everyone, just popped in to say Thank you for all your support. My friend SueAnn has just given me
a new site to follow.  http://www.livestrong.com/  I have to say it already has been a learning experience.
I got my plan for the day set up, and have realized that I have never counted calories or have had any
idea about what fats, sugars, etc are in an item. Frankly I find it a little alarming. I had cut out sodium
for years meaning I never put it on anything, I have no high blood pressure, but have continually had problems with circulation and now I think I know why, there can be an amazing amount of salt in some of the foods.
And vegetables, some are very high in sugar content. I pretty much have known what to eat and have monitored my portions, but this is going to give me a whole different outlook. I can keep track of my water, journal, my meal plans , everything. So if anyone thinks I am just sitting back to wait for Gastric Bypass, your wrong.
I am taking every new tool and going to kick some major butt. Yes I am, That is my goal for December.
I have done Tai Chi this morning and I have walked on the spot. Mr. Musta is not surviving so as soon as I can I am going to get another treadmill, maybe I will get one that lasts more than a few weeks. lol.
You may want to check out this site. Well gotta go, today I have to get my Christmas cards out.
Have a great day and may you have the Best Day Ever!
...............
p.s.
Thanks SueAnn.

  3. Cinner, I don't believe that anyone would think that you just wait for the Bypass. Anyone who follows your blog a bit can see that you are always trying and improving! I love Tai-Chi!! What series do you do? I did the 24 series when I was studying in the States. I did love it, but sadly I never found such a good teacher here in Europe. So I didn't practice since. But it's something I want to get back to one day :-) big hugs!! and congratulations on all the great job you do, I know you inspire many!!

  8. SueAnn is awesome and has been very successful in her weight loss. Glad she's sharing tips with you. I'm always surprised at how crazy some of the food is we eat-- that we think are healthy-- I figure the more I can make fresh and not out of a can or box, the better off I am. Good luck with the new plan. It makes perfect sense to me!

Have a wonderful weekend. I hope the snow has let up a bit.

    Cheers, jj
