Hello and Happy New Year!

Hi I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to avoid too many temptations.
I had a wonderful Christmas with my Mom and my hubby. It was a long drive, eleven hours,
but we lucked out and had wonderful weather and the full moon to guide our way.
I actually got some amazing pictures of the moon to show you.
I still have to unpack and find my camera.
I am very glad to say that the saga of Mr. Musta has come to an end.
Mr. Musta has been thrown into a snow bank for now and has been replaced today
by a new treadmill. for the time being I have no name in mind, but it will come to me.
A important message...if you have Cataplexy you may want to stay off of an Eliptical Machine.
What an effort that was, so I was on it for about 30 seconds, laughed, fell off, twisted my knee,
and hurt my glass all in about a minute. So the treadmill won out and now I can get back on track,
you note I said get back on track.....enough of that though I am looking forward to the New Year.
New goals, new plans, new beginnings.
I wish you every success in the New Year and I hope it is a year where all your
Dreams Come True.
Take care,
Cinner

  1. Cindy....How is it that I come here...and smile and smile. What a pleasure to visit your blog!
First of all, I'm happy that you had a safe trip (what a lonnnng trip, my friend)...and a wonderful Christmas with your Mom and your husband. I'm glad that the road traveling wasn't bad for you... Snow storms seem to have kept many people off the roads or even stranded. Thankfully, you had a great trip.
Now....about the elliptical machine. Bless your heart. I laughed reading about it. I know that I shouldn't....but the way you write, I just can't help but smile from my heart. You have the best sense of humor...and the most spirit and spunk, my friend. And don't EVER worry about Jackie getting on an elliptical machine. I got on one ONCE! I got off and looked back at it and said, "Never again!!.....NEVER!!" That was simply a form of torture for me. I burned in places that I didn't even know I had places!!! Treadmills are my friend. Elliptical machines have horns and a forked tail....I can't stand them!!!
That moon......oooooooh, that beautiful moon this past week. I can't wait to see your pictures.
Warm hugs to you, Cindy. Love you much...and wish you a wonderful week as the new year approaches.
    Love,
    Jackie

  3. It's great to hear of your Christmas adventure and even better that you made the trip easily and safely....as for the TRIP on the elliptical..I can honestly say, been there, done that...don't wanna again. After the first of the year Sweet Man has said that he is going with me to the gym. That remains to be seen but I must get back and start getting some strength back. All of this lung business has kept me from doing any of the things that are good for me and a whole lot of things that haven't been good for me. So onward and upward.
Happy New Year, my friend, The Olde Bagg, Linda

I giggled at your description of your elliptical experience, while feeling sorry you had a hard time of it. Does that make sense? lol

  21. Rettakat, welcome, my goal for this blog was to bring awareness to Cataplexy, so I am always thrilled to hear someone that someone has read about it now. There are so many people worse off than I , I always feel I have nothing to complain about. I have had to learn to laugh at the situation which to me still seems ridiculous most days. lol.looking forward to getting to know you better. may you have the Happiest of New Years.
