Lucky Seven

Good Morning All, it is a beautiful fall day,
our weather has been amazing,
even though we have had some frost,
and most of my plants are done, the odd one is blooming,
which puts a real happy face on this chickadee.
So today here is a reminder to take time to smell the flowers...
or go buy some fresh flowers.
you all have been doing great.

So no tears to be shed here today. I have great news.
I have been feeling better, walking as often as I can,
and I just could not resist getting on the scale today.
I oops a few times this past week but when I did I walked on the treadmill.
So I have gone from 315 down to 308,
doing the happy dance,
shake, shake, shake my booty.
The good thing is I know it is not just fluid because I have been drinking my water.
All 8 glasses a day.

So I feel like I am making progress,
water is a big key.
Too often I would reach for a can of coke or diet coke,
but once I am getting in the habit,
I am actually starting to crave the water.
There should be a bolt of lightning right now,
because I seriously thought I would never crave it..
............
I have a bit of a funny story,
you all know I have Cataplexy,
I have learned this week, that when I go to fast on the treadmill....
which trust me is going about the speed of a turtle,
my Cataplexy triggers causing me to fall down.
It is so odd that when I  enjoy something and I am  happy,
that I always got to be careful of falling over if I laugh.
so I have a string I have put on the magnet that I can turn it on or off,
and then if I have it attached around my hand
the machine will automatically stop.
lol, no don't!
I think I look like a nutbar,
but better safe than sorry.
I hope you have a great day and wth,
ROFLYAO.

  10. I am so friggin' proud of you. You will become addicted to water. I used to drink Coke like it was going out of style and I stopped and switched it for water. I love water now. It is my drink of choice.

  12. Dee, I still have one cup of coffee in the morning. if I don't I am dragging my butt...so I tried and have just one in the am...I tried ice coffee but I compare it to dirty dishwater although I have never tasted it...ha, lol. I heard for every cup of coffee or tea you have, you are supposed to drink two cups of water. How are you managing. Hugs.

  17. I Wonder Why, hi nice to meet you. I had a membership at a gym once but you know I did not use it very much....back then I felt so out of place...I was the biggest one there....and I know thats why I went...but I really felt like it was more about fashion than any thing else...the next place I went was very different and I liked it..just easier for me now at home. Thank you so much for your support. always glad to meet new people. hugs.

  18. Sarah, I was so like you...the vision I have in my head is when my plants dry up and I give them some water, and suddenly they are perked up and look alive again....so it must be a necessity....so I tell myself...They say it takes 21 days to make something a habit...I am working on it. Thanks for your support...good luck with more water...Hugs.
