I'M Hooked UP!

Tonight I don't even have a picture, so here is a visual.
4 wires, tingling legs, intermittent currents running down my legs,
encouraging better circulation,
three settings,
from comfortable to
butt clenching,
running your nails over a blackboard,
forcing you to say,
Lower, lower,
reaching for the control,
and note to myself,
remember which way to decrease.
What I am referring to is the Dr. Ho Muscle Therapy System.
Recently my circulation and muscle aches have gotten really bad.
I have to say I felt incredible relief from using this last night,
and now I am up because they were throbbing again.
So I sit here with the battery pack
tucked at the neck of my pjs.
This kind of reminds me of a time when I tried hypnosis
for losing weight, same feeling in my hands and legs,
and then little beads were placed in my ears,
and when you got hungry  I was supposed to push the buttons.
I lost over fourty pounds in 3 weeks,
but put that on in about the same time..
.............
Have any of you used the Dr. Ho system.
This is my opinion of the system.
It certainly makes a difference.
I have had it for over two years now,
you can use it for other areas too.
I am glad I decided to use it again,
I should be able to be out walking by the weekend/
next week I get some test results..
.........
well my twenty minutes are up,
Unhooking and back to bed,
i will sleep peacefully,
Hook to my CPAP for sleep apnea.
I should be a bundle of energy by morning.
just maybe not tomorrow morning,
but one of these days it will happen!
I hope you are having a great week,
enjoy your day.
Take care.

  6. HI CINNER

Dr Ho's system sounds pretty amazing. Huh. Who knew? :-) I will look in to it and I am glad it works so well for you. I am doing my PT routines. A bit strenuous but I 'feel' the moves helping my muscles. Time will tell. I am still moving about slowly with the rollator but moving all the same - phew.
    Have a great day.
    Love you girl
    Gail

SueAnn, oxygen....so much on my mind today, very hazy smoky here from the fires in British Columbia, one province over. I was coughing lots today. glad you have your energy and I too am a morning person. I think I still get that from being raised on the farm....but sometimes I am up at six and in bed by nine....there has to be a laugh in there that is before the stores even open. lol. be well. hugs.

  16. Oh Cinner....
I do wish the weight loss journey was an easier road. I know that it can be tough and discouraging.
I hope it's going well for you and that your pains go away as well.

Have you ever tried eating all Raw?
    or mostly Raw?

My parents went to a mostly raw diet to support my sister~ who was doing raw to fight her cancer.
They have both lost 40 pounds and are no longer taking their blood pressure medicine.
It has been quite amazing. And VERY healthy.

There are many many recipes on line.

    Have a great weekend~

Chasity, Congratulations to your Mom and Dad on their weight loss, that is awesome. they must be feeling much better. fruits and vegetables are the way to go for sure. I have to keep bread right out of my vocabulary and my house. lol. I am praying for Shauna and your family. smiles.

  20. I love your sense of humor as you cope with the pain and discomfort. May you receive the relief you seek. Thank you for being such an upbeat role model and for sharing your story even when you don't feel so upbeat.

  21. Cheeky curves, thanks so much for stopping by, thanks for the kind wishes. that was really thoughtful of you. today is a good day as it has cooled off. take care and thanks again.

Kathryn, thank you for the nice message. I never think of myself as a role model, some days are harder than others. My Dad was never a complainer,
if you told him you had a sore foot, he would tell you you still had one...besides I know there are so many people worse off than me...we all have a bad day, as long as my good outweigh the bad then I am still laughing. thank you for your kindness. hope you have a great week. take care. hugs.
