I received this email yesterday, I thought it was pretty cute.
I had to smile and wondered for a moment
what I will be like when I get old.
Age does not take the fun out of life,
I know this I will be enjoying life as long as I can.

I don't wear skirts or dresses,
So I will be in my jeans..
Just in case we ever meet up.

ReplyDeleteI will be wearing jeans too and high-top sneakers or boots, a nice sweater or fancy tee depending on the season, I have great jewelery, we can share it - sort through my jewelery box and pick out what we want to wear - I love scarves too and I have lots so we can fancy up our jean outfit with a scarf . and when I get older, ummmmmmm, I will still be a kid at heart and honor all that means.

ReplyDeleteDid you ever see "The Zimmers" where you are? They are an elderly rock band - they've got a few vids up on YouTube - and they did a fabulous cover of "My Generation". That's the kind of "older" I want to be!!
