Let's Eat At the Table.

Exciting news to report....I have finally lost another ten pounds.
I was able to walk quite a bit on the weekend and
I think the big thing has been eating meals at the table.
We have been big ones for just grabbing our food and eating on the couch.
Those days have been kicked to the curb.
I have always enjoyed eating at the table, it was always something
that was done when I was growing up. I have found that is not so in a lot of
homes. Heck even the cat enjoys sitting at the table.
Okay usually on it, I am working to fix that problem.
So I am feeling pretty positive.
I also got my call and surgery is booked for the end of June.
At least I know it is booked and that I am no longer on a waiting list.
Just for a hernia and a large cyst repair.
In the meantime I will just keep doing what I can,
the healthier I am for surgery the better off I will be.
I have to say I feel
like today is going to be one of
My Best Days Ever.
...........
How are you doing?
I would love to hear what is working for you.
Have a great day.

  1. I don't know that I'm still actively losing, but fixing my hair and doing my make-up and taking care of my appearance again is going a long way. I used to get ready, I'm just going the extra mile. And it is helpful and working!

*CONGRATS!* on the 10 pounds! I've had umbilical hernia repair.

  2. Congrats on the 10 pounds! I am glad to read everything is moving along and hopefully soon you'll be officially on the mend. I agree with your opinions on eating at the table....it truly is lost. I can't remember the last time my family and I sat down and ate at the table. It's sort of sad really! Keep up the great work! :)

  3. HI beautiful- looks like things are moving along well :-) and ya, I/we always eat at the table, candles and cloth napkins to make it a special time. And when one remember eating it makes one less hungry later. so they say. And June ey? I will start praying now.
    I love you

  13. Ten pounds..that is great news. Cats do have a habit of sitting wherever they can jump or reach too. My cat sometimes sits at the rim of my tub.
