Here I Go Again!

Sorry it has been a few days since I have written a post,
Here it is Spring, that wonderful Spring,
where the world comes alive, breaks out into colors,
spirits are lifted,  new hope, new goals, excitement for life returns.
So I drew this pic on the computer and then went into picknic to finish it up.
...........
So here in our neck of the woods even with Spring arriving on the 21st,
we have 4 or 5 days of fore casted snow
So it still looks like a winter wonderland.
What's a gal to do just go with the flow.
..................
Monday morning started out with an enhanced CT Scan.
I go later today to get the results, which I already know from the Ultrasound,
but apparently they can get a clearer picture so will be able to tell me more
as to what will be done when I have my surgery. I hope they book it soon!
..................
I got on my scale over the weekend,
and it seems to be a practice I need to implement back into my life.
I have decided not to weigh myself until after this surgery,
as the hernia and cysts or tumor are causing all kinds of problems,
swelling, and thank Goodness for Gingerale,
the burps that have been errupting around this house
can wake my husband from a dead sleep.
and all I can say is Excuse me and I am sorry.
That is probably more info than you needed to know.
So I am glad that I will find out more today
from my family doctor and then will probably just wait until I have
Surgery. My hope is that once this is done I will be feeling
much better and the weight loss will get easier for me.
Amongst all of this, I got a call for a pre assessment
for either Gastric Bypass or Lap band Surgery.
I still am not sure if this is an option for me
or if I will be able to have it done or will have to wait.
I did book the pre assessment as I have been on a list for over two years,
and I figure I should go and talk to them, it is not until May.
So things seem kind of up in the air right now,
may be the reason for not posting as often.
.............
All I know for sure
is to Live Today, enjoy every moment,
cherish each second, do your best today so that Tomorrow gets easier,
Eat Healthy, Exercise, Be Positive,
and above all else
Love Yourself.
Have your Very Best Day!

  1. As a winter storm swirls around us (courtesy of Iowa this time around!) I feel bad for the poor returning birds.

This waiting and 'up in the air' can be so frustrating, but it does sound like things are moving along at a not so unusual slow pace for you.

  5. First I want to tell you I love your picture! Second, it is much more difficult to try to lose weight when you are trying to nurse an illness within your body. There are so many things to do just to make yourself feel semi-healthy when things are not quite right. I know this for a fact as I have lupus and fibromyalgia. I am usually a very health conscious eater and exercise for me is extremely important as it helps to keep my symptoms lighter but when I am in a flare up, it all goes out the door. I cannot exercise from the pain and weakness and I eat whatever my stomach will tolerate. If that is just sugary foods all day, so be it. I was lucky enough a year ago to go through a pretty long period of remission and was able to lose 30 pounds which got me back to my normal weight. As you said earlier, we go with the flow. Honey, just take care of yourself and don't stress because it is so hard on the body. Good luck on your surgery! You are such a sweet thing.

  6. I feel for you, Cinner. My hubby is going through all those tests too. It will be good when it is behind us, but right now it's just full steam ahead.

As you say, go with the flow ... hope your test results turn out good.

  9. I wish we could use a remote control to fast forward through the waiting. Is that possible and I just am not aware of it?

Thinking of you here, how did teh CT results go?

Burps that can wake someone up; oh my!

Thanks for your kind words of support on my blog; so happy to have your support!

    Have a great weekend!

Shanae Thank you so much for visiting. have a great weekend, attitude is everything. smiles.

Patrick, yes just hit fast forward without the aging process. The CT showed an umbilical hernia, with a large cyst above the hernia,,,and a large cyst on the right ovary which was a surprise for me....but good news is all organs are working, some degeneration in the lower back...probably due to weight....Patient appears to be obese....I hate that word....lol. we will make it through this Patrick....I am thinking of you.

  15. Mina, I read this and teared up. I can always tell when someone understands when you say your tired...I literally with the Cataplexy can hardly put a foot in front of the other when I am exhausted.. I am glad you were able to lose your weight. I need to look up lupus. I know one other blogger that has it. Right now until my surgeries I am just getting through each day the best way I can,,,I am focused on the healthy part and my weight right now is second although I do know it goes hand in hand...you are the sweet thing my friend. have a great weekend.
