Water, Water, Water!

I am posting this photo for two reasons,
one to remind myself to drink  my water.
The last few days, my legs have been aching,
and tonight I woke up with Charlie Horses in both legs,
thus the reason for me being awake
and posting this in the middle of the night.
Have you ever had a Charlie Horse that made you scream
in pain, Well tonight was one of those times for me.
My wonderful husband slept right through it.
Now if he would have screamed right beside me,
I would have woke up for certain,
but when he is out he is out.
Anyway I rubbed my legs,
and walked the pains away.
This only happens to me
when I have not had enough water.
Does anyone else have this problem
and if so what do you do for it?
...............
Well my goal today is to do all the things I know I should, it is a dancing morning for me,but for now, I am back to the land of Nod, where I should be sleeping, I want to watch the skiing on the Olympics tomorrow.
Have a great day and I hope you get a chance to do something you love!

  1. Cinner, water is good good good for you!
Too much salt, not enough potassium does it for me.
And water is the key! Get well soon.

  2. HI CINNER-

I am staring at my water bottle as I type. I am always amazed when it is empty - that I drank every drop - phew.
A little trick for leg cramps -'Charley-horses'. Put a bar of Ivory Soap under the bottom sheet on your side of the bed - and for some reason you wont get 'Charley-horses'. try it! :-)

    Happy Monday
    Love to you

  3. Gail, Thanks for the tip, I have never heard that about the soap but hey if it works great, my husband will really think I have lost my mind if he happens to find the soap...lol. And yes I am on the water kick, doing great today, love you too.

Anne, oh yes I am drinking the water, went for a walk today, our family day was just gorgeous here. Take care my friend. Hugs to you.

  4. cinner, eat half a banana a day and when you get those painful cramps pull your toes towards you. I use to get them so bad that I couldn't put my foot flat on the floor for a couple of days as where the knot in my leg was it was just so sore.....I know how painful they can be cinner, horrible.
I drink a lot of water, make sure I have the proper amount of potassium......it has been a few years since I have had one. (Hope I haven't jinxed myself now)......:-) Hugs
